During the start of the year, there were only three active traders in the brokerage firm I was trading in. All three were female. Their trading style: Tsupita. They weren’t always short-term traders. I think it was because the resident tsupitero was still not around so the three had to fill in his place. Another reason, I think, is because their boss is the biggest Tsupitero of all. Just as the saying goes, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Anyway, I remember writing a post one time entitled “Good Girls Go Bad*”. Why? Because that time, it seemed like the girls went wild and kept hitting market whether its a sell or a buy. We were all over the ticker, I remember writing. Oh, good times!
Now, it’s already nearing the end of the year and our trading styles have actually changed given current market conditions. No longer were we hitting market like crazy, we’ve actually turned back to our natural tendencies, that is, position trading. I actually avoid momentum plays now. The same goes to my officemate so I was joking with her just a while ago. I told her, “Mark** has made a good woman out of you.” Haha!

**Mark is short for Market or Stock Market
